Trevor Durr

Many parts of our government, our society, our peers and ourselves influence us as people. Through my art I hope to bring attention to cultural, political and social issues that are otherwise looked past by many. I predominantly work with ceramics and paints (acrylic, aerosol). In my more recent pieces I work to push the boundaries of “fine art” with multilayer stencil graffiti, graffiti-esque prints and ceramic art that reflects the aesthetics of street art. Many street artists create their work on the clay canvas of city walls. I am working to take the aesthetics of street art and transfer it to multiple ceramic canvases.
